SDCAMA was originally founded as a painters club and a given percentage of painter members must be maintained. After the jury has been completed, we decide how many non-painters are allowed to join. The remaining successful applicants are placed on our waiting list. Artist on the wait list only have to jury once and must wait until we either increase the number of painters following the next jury or until a non-painter cancels their membership. Artist and fine craftpersons who are at least 18 years old and are currently a permanent, legal resident of San Diego County may become a member of San Diego County Art Mart Association (SDCAMA). Please read the Membership Information sheet for complete details Prospective members must have their work approved by a jury of SDCAMA members. The next jury is Saturday May 09, 2026. A completed application package must be received by Friday April 10, 2026 to be considered for the May jury. All applicants will be notified about their status for the May 09, 2026 jury.
